How To Register
There are two ways to register in 2024:

Using your Active Kids Voucher.

Not using your Active Kids Voucher
The NSW Government is helping kids get active with the Active Kids program. Eligible parents, guardians and carers can apply for a voucher valued up to $50 twice a year for each student enrolled in school to go towards an eligible sporting activity. Please note the 2024 vouchers are now only available to families on Family Benefit Plan A and/or B.
Using your Active Kids Voucher
1. Visit www.service.nsw.gov.au and create a MyService NSW Account (if you do not already have one). Or download the ServiceNSW App.
2. Complete an Active Kids application through your MyService NSW Account by going here or via the Service NSW App.
(You will need to enter the child’s: name, address, DOB, Medicare number, height and weight and some basic information about their current activities).
Once completed, You will receive a voucher with a unique ID number for each child. that you can use in the registration process below.
IF YOU ARE A NEW PLAYER
For the 2024 season all registrations need to be done through the Rugby XPLORER App which
can be downloaded to your phone or tablet via either the Google or Apple link below or by
searching Rugby XPLORER on your phone or tablet.
Once you have the Rugby XPLORER App you are may proceed with registration. Please see details below for both Player Registration and Parent/Volunteer Registration.

REGISTER A PLAYER
Please see below for a step by step registration process for Players. You'll need the following details before you start:

Current Height & Weight of your child

Size of Kit required (jersey, shorts)
-
Recent Headshot
-
Active Kids voucher number (if you are planning to use one. See above).
NEW REGISTRATION
If you have not used Rugby XPLORER previously you will need to create a Parent/Carer Account first, then add your child/ren profiles to your Account. Please ensure you use your correct personal details (such as date of birth) on your Parent Account, not your child's. Your child's details will go against their own profile.
1. Click the More Button at the bottom right, then Sign-up or Login
2. Click Create a Rugby Xplorer account and follow the prompts
Once you have created your Parent Account, you can continue to Register your child as a Player.
ALL REGISTRATIONS
3. Click the More Button at the bottom right, then Register
4. Click the Find A Club Option under Play Rugby
5. Here you will find a Who would you like to register option
a) NEW PLAYER - Click Link a new person, and follow the prompts to create an Account for your child/ren
b) RETURNING PLAYER - You should see your child's name listed from previous season.
6. Type Coogee into the search bar and select Coogee Seahorses JRUFC, then Next
7. Registration type is Role: Player, Registration Type: XV's Juniors, Duration: Season
8. Check details, the follow the prompts.
NOTE:

You will need a profile photo added. If you skip this option now, please ensure you go back and upload one before the season starts.

Additional questions: Height & Weight. Please enter these correctly, as all age divisions are governed by weight and height guidelines, so they must be recorded correctly.

Add a Saleable Item - this is where you please enter your shirt and shorts sizing for your FREE playing kit. You can also choose to purchase a Coogee Seahorses Hoodie or Trucker cap to arrive not long after the season starts!

On the Payment Page you will see a breakdown of the costs included in your Registration fee, including Insurance, and fees to other clubs. You are also able to enter your Active Kids Voucher number here.

There is also an opportunity to DONATE TO MY CLUB. Coogee Seahorses is a not for profit, volunteer-run club, and any funds here will go towards additional coaching and resources for all our players. If you are unable to volunteer for the season, or are in a position to donate extra funds to our club, we would appreciate your support in this way.
