Celebrating over 60 years of Junior Rugby

Coogee Seahorses are one of the oldest junior rugby clubs in Australia, our players first ran onto a cold wet pitch in 1959 and our juniors have been running onto rugby pitches across Sydney in the famous black and white colours since.

2022 saw the Coogee Seahorses club having more than 200 boys and girls running onto rugby fields across Sydney, with over 12 teams from the exuberant Under 6's all the way up to the Under 12’s.

During the season our teams played in over 400 games, against over 1,500 other juniors with over 3,000 parents and family watching on the sidelines.

We pride ourselves on having a great club spirit with all players given the opportunity to safely learn and enjoy rugby whilst also encouraging achievement and excellence in the greatest game on earth.

Coogee Rugby has a long and proud history in Australian Rugby with Coogee Oval being the famous home of the Randwick Rugby Club.

Coogee Seahorses caters for girls and boys from the Under 6 through to Under 12 age groups.

Our teams play matches in their selected competitions which are Saturday mornings for U6 to U9's, and Friday nights and Sunday mornings for U10 to U12'.

2023 club training will commence at the start of March with games starting at the end of that month. There are no games during school holidays.

The club has training on Wednesday evening from 4-5 pm for U6 to U8 and 5-6pm for U9 to U12.  Training is at Latham Park, Moverly Road South Coogee 2034.
